I started Shelby Darling Photography back in 2019 after a friend asked if I could film her wedding for her. I didn't know anything about videography (still don't hehe), but ended up absolutely loving the joy and chaos of working weddings and started doing wedding photography full time shortly after that.
Shelby Darling photography is an invitation into a world where whimsy is captured in every frame.

THE ARTIST
i'm shelby. wedding photographer. cat lady. pink enthusiast. plant lover. can be found blasting sabrina carpenter in my 2010 volkswagen beetle (with a starbies pink drink in hand). i'm inspired by all the colors of the rainbow and believe more will always be more.
Pink is my love language, if you couldn't tell by now. My couch? Pink. My front door? Pink. My car? Not pink, but it's on my to-do list. I have never been a serious person, life is too short to not have fun and do what makes you happy. I have a perfect husband and three perfect kids. When I have some free time (which is never) I love catching up on my favorite fantasy books, playing video games, and babying my ever-growing houseplant collection. I'm really happy with my life, and what I've built, and super super grateful to all the fabulous couples who've let me be a tiny part of their stories over the years.

I take a docu-torial approach to a wedding day with a good mix of candids and posed photos. I also love getting detail shots of the florals & decor.

If you're a fun-loving and colorful couple we will get along perfectly. My couples prioritize having an amazing time on their wedding day as well as the little details that tie everything together.
